I locked my keys in my truck. How annoying. Even more annoying: when you’re in a group of engineers, they all think they know how to get the door unlocked and none of them really knows. I know this from prior experience so I’ve kept quiet about it this time. I’ll just wait till Mel gets off work and comes with a spare key.
Evan has discovered the little program “TablEdit” which is used for making up guitar tablature but will also create standard notation music scores. He is obviously going to get prolific with it and write up his riffs. Cool. It’s been sitting there on the computer for me to use for months and I’ve never done much besides playing tabs created by someone else. If only I had the spare time that your average teenager has. *sigh*
I’ve lost seven pounds so far. That’s not much but everything counts in weight loss. Another 20 pounds to go. Mel has lost 10.
I was ill-mannered to a coworker yesterday but he deserved it. Plus, it was really hilarious.
Erin’s drama class is starting on the spring play. She’s excited.
I set up our printer at home to be shared on the local network so now I can print from the laptop while not connected by any annoying cables. It’s almost indistinguishable from magic – at least to judge from the reactions I’ve been getting around the house.
Evan’s Eagle Scout adviser came over to go over his stuff one last time. It was nice of him to come to our house as opposed to making Evan come to his. He’s almost done. He only has to get one or two more signatures and turn his stuff into the scout office. Then they will schedule a board of review and I think that’s it. Yow! I’ve already made the DVD of photos and schmaltzy music to show at the party.
I wish I could figure out how to keep my iPod from playing Christmas music on shuffle unless it’s actually Christmastime.
